“First iPod”

I love looking back sometimes and scrapping a photo/story that I have somehow missed. While culling some photo envelopes I found this photo of JJ aged 13 really engrossed in his new iPod that he got for his birthday! He loved it and I took this photo of him sitting in his chair on the floor totally lost in thought working it out. I decided to use this photo for a challenge to use tags on a page. I am still out of action and seeing my doctor tmorrow after having X-rays today.

I used some PL grid cards and made them into tags and masked some different patterns on them. I layered them and added the photo with a few bits from my embellishment kit that I won from the last Delish Scraps CC. I didn’t feel up to scrapping last weekend with the girls, but thought I would have a go at this challenge.

This was a fun memory to scrap for JJ and to record for him to look back on. Time has marched on and now @ 17 he still enjoys his music on his iPhone 🙂

“Week 2 – 8/14 Sept”

I think I am getting the hang of this ‘pocket’ scrap booking 🙂 I am thinking about each pocket as a mini layout and that way it not so overwhelming! A lovely lady told me to approach it like that 🙂 I am using bits and bobs from my stash and the lovely buttons you see are from Studio40. The lovely Sandra Allan designs them. They are nice and flat to use on my PL pages 🙂                           These are just a few of our every days 🙂 Nothing too exciting this week but still memories of us 🙂

I used a bit of twine, and a few embellies and stamps to tie it all together 🙂
